What do you do for a living in 10 words?
Contractor Sales Specialist for Rockwool Insulation
 
Where do you currently reside?
I stay just outside of Carluke.
 
 
 
  1. Who did you idolise when growing up?
I always idolised my Gran growing up. If I am half the woman she is, I’ll be happy! 
 
  1. What memories do you have of your first ever job?
My first ever job was in a Fish & Chip shop whilst at school. It wasn’t the most glamourous but I enjoyed all the craic and earning my own money at a young age.
 
  1. What has been the best piece of advice you have received in your career so far?
I think the piece of advice which has stuck with me most is ‘If you change nothing, nothing will change.’
 
  1. What would you class as your biggest achievement so far?
My biggest achievement so far would be teaching English in Thailand to kids in deprived schools. This was definitely a life changing experience!
 
  1. Do you have any goals (career or personal) set for 2018 and beyond?
I have just recently started a job in an industry completely new to me. Therefore, my goals for this year are just to take in as much as I can and learn my role. From there, I am excited to progress and further my career at Rockwool.
 
  1. Tell us what a typical day at work looks like?
As I have just started I am mainly working on building relationships with my customers and training and educating them on our products.
 
  1. Describe yourself in 3 words?
Reliable, Mature and Calm.
 
  1. What is your favourite movie?
Soppy, but my favourite movie of all time is PS. I Love You.
 
  1. If you could invite anyone (dead or alive) for dinner who would you invite?
I think it would be Henrik Larsson, I could sit and listen to him for days!
