Workplace "Hygge"

Workplace "Hygge"

 1 Jun 2017

Ever since Nordic Noir programmes like Borgen and The Killing hit UK screens we have coveted everything Danish from stylish knitwear to city bikes. Interiors are now influenced by Danish design and last year books on Hygge, the concept of enjoying the environment around you and transforming personal spaces, hit our shelves. This cosy concept aspirational in our homes is trending in our offices and, as we moved into our new home in Glasgow this week (see our lovely pic), what better time to think about how our workplace influences how we do business and achieve a sense of fulfilment in the work sphere. Our clean lines, open plan kitchen areas, communal and flexible work spaces encourage collaboration, socialising and movement during the working day, which is healthy for body and mind. Taking a call in different areas, meeting clients in a social space and having a break away from desks and screens to bond with colleagues encourages us to re-energise and focus on different tasks throughout the day. This offers the flexibility required by changing work patterns and individual work styles, giving freedom to evolve and grow future business in not only very stylish environment but a future focused one. We can't wait to share our new space with our clients and candidates. Have a look https://www.spacesworks.com/ and visit our site for current vacancies  https://www.redconsult.co.uk/
