Our growing Financial Services client has an opening for an Audit & Securitisation Support to manage and support external parties and provide support to the internal business owners during Audits and Securitisations.
 
As the Audit & Securitisation Support, you will act as the main point of contact, offering support to both external parties and internal business owners, ensuring all pre-audit requirements are met and that investor and other presentations are coordinated and prepared to a high standard.
 
In addition, you will act as the arranger for Audit firms, ensuring that they are planned efficiently, and will be responsible for maintaining standard corporate data and presentation packs.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Experienced within an Audit function in Financial Services, ideally within the mortgage market.
  • Understanding of, or previous involvement in Securitisation processes.
  • Proven GDPR knowledge and similar experience of managing and sending data.
  • Demonstratable ability to manage multi-workstreams and understand prioritisation and time management.
  • Highly organised and efficient with outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience of compiling and maintaining corporate presentations.
  • Demonstrable influencing, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook).
  • Results & outcome orientated - focused on improving the role, delivering goals, and producing results.
  • Team worker and capable of working on their own initiative.
  • Meticulous, precise, and thorough.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Request and assess audit scopes, probing obvious gaps or incomplete requests.
  • Act as the primary contact for business owners to provide or request any pre-audit data or reporting required, in addition to Auditors: providing them with data or access required.
  • Create a forward schedule and maintaining Audit and Securitisation planner / calendar with internal and external parties.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and status update of each ongoing audit.
  • Work with business owners to schedule audit review dates.
  • Arrange access and/or facilities for Auditors.
  • Ensure that all data requests are presented and requested in time and forwarded within the correct timescale.
  • Ensure that all pre-audit requirements are met by requesting and assessing audit scopes and probing obvious gaps or incomplete requests.
  • Create a library of SOPs for Securitisation & standard Audit tasks and/or processes.
  • Compile & maintain a library of standard or generic responses to repeat questions for efficiency.
  • Create investor presentations to a high standard and a library of corporate information kept up to date.
  • Support, track, and coordinate all Securitisation tasks for the Company.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and status update of each ongoing audit.
  • Maintain daily diary to monitor responses; issues; reminders to business owners & ensure audit actions are closed out within expected timescales.
