Our Glasgow based client are recruiting for a Back End Developer, who will work closely with the team and CTO to introduce best practices and advocate for these within the team. In addition to contributing to daily development tasks on projects, you would also be expected to:

Advocate for coding standards

Conduct code reviews

Be reliable, available, and responsive to answer questions from the wider team

Assist with project initiation and set-up

Have an awareness of the commercial significance of projects and prioritise tasks accordingly
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
An excellent back-end coder, you will be keen to develop the skills in those around you and lead by
example. You will be comfortable working primarily with C# to create RESTful .NET (Core) APIs to
support web applications and native mobile apps. You will also have an awareness of the full
application stack and be comfortable using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Focused and results-orientated, you will enjoy the satisfaction of solving problems and creating
elegant technical solutions in an Agile environment. You will have a passion for coding and the desire
to work in a company where you will have exposure to a breadth of products and opportunities. You
will enjoy learning and researching tools and technologies then selecting the appropriate
combinations.

Setting up and maintaining (cloud) infrastructure components and pipelines for the projects you work on
