Our growing Financial Services client has an opening for a Change and Release Implementation Manager, who will oversee the implementation, integration, and effectiveness of change management processes to help the Company meet their organisational strategies.
 
In addition, the Change and Release Implementation Manager will ensure Change is delivered successfully & safely considering all potential impacts. Furthermore, they will be responsible for the efficient handling, scheduling & deployment of all change, implementation, and releases. Reporting to Head of Projects and Change, they will also manage change & ensure the stability of all Company platforms and services.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Adept in the use of Visio, Project, Excel, PowerPoint & Change Management tools (JIRA or similar) in support of the design and analysis required within the role
  • Awareness of IT infrastructure (Networks, Applications, 3rd party Software provider, Info Security)
  • Excellent communicator who can summarise complex issues well both verbally and written
  • Evidence of practical experience in managing UAT and requirement testing
  • Strong experience managing a Change & Release / Implementation team within Financial Services – ideally mortgage lending
  • Demonstrable experience in software release deployment activities
  • Have proven experience of Operational and Software/ System Change where continuous delivery cycles and overlapping projects are active
  • Evidenced knowledge of industry standard approaches to risk management in a regulatory environment
  • Demonstrable experience in Stakeholder management and working collaboratively during Change cycles, coordinating, and managing people to fulfil change requests
  • Change Management or Project qualification required - Agile preferable
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight time scales
  • Methodical approach with good attention to detail
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Accountable for managing and reviewing incoming changes, prioritising as required
  • Complete robust impact assessments across the entire business
  • Create a full forward implementation schedule of change releases (by month and quarter)
  • Manage change risk by implementing and utilising a robust change management framework and processes
  • Ensuring all control gates (requirements, UAT, sign off and implementation steps) have been passed prior to a change / project being implemented
  • Liaise closely with IT and the wider Operational Teams to design, build, test, and transition changes to production
  • Partner closely with IT and our external Software / Platform provider, developing a clear understanding of both roles and co-ordinate release schedules with them
  • Create change materials and notifications to relevant business / other teams on or prior to release
  • Preparation of Weekly & Monthly MI, meeting reporting schedule deadlines including change numbers, changes that close risks, risk or issues caused by change and future states and plans
  • Full audit trails of all changes maintained, and all internal and external audits supported when required
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of policies, processes, and procedures under the direction of the Head of Projects and Change
  • Provide support to admin and analysts, managing workloads and work schedules
