Our retail client, based on the outskirts of Glasgow, are looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join their fast-growing team.
The aim of the E-commerce manager will include supervising and improving all technical and digital aspects of the website. This will include web development, online sales, data analysis and promotions.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Demonstratable experience in E-commerce at management level, in addition to at least 4 years of experience in a similar e-commerce role

Confident in using an e-commerce platform, ideally Magento 2 or Shopify

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Experience managing outsourced technical developers and agencies

Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and sell ideas, in addition to exceptional organisation skills

Strong working knowledge of reporting platforms such as Google Analytics

An understanding of SEO, PPC and general ecommerce marketing
JOB DESCRIPTION

Own digital marketing channels including the website, Paid, Email, SEO and Social

Manage and mentor the Company E-commerce team

Support the sales team with web enquiries

Work with the product team on content marketing, stock, pricing, and promotions

Collaborate with developers to prioritise & deliver projects

Take technical ownership of Company websites

Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention

Planning and delivering KPIs in line with business objectives

Relationship management of third-party providers supporting the performance of the website and the customer experience journey

Management of delivering traffic to the site, working with colleagues in-house & agency side

Responsible for internal E-commerce platform development roadmap, leading continuous development of the websites and platforms
