We are looking for a Fleet Support Officer for our client in Glasgow.  This is an exciting position that supports the front-line operations as part of an operational mini-team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Drive operational leadership 
  • Work closely with all members of the gas fleet, ship and shore, to enhance operational performance 
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all suppliers 
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with ship’s staff 
  • Drive cost leadership within the mini-team 
  • Participate in budget and quarter-end preparation 
  • Support the Vessel Manager in all aspects of vessel operations 
  • Manage all aspects of Vessel’s procurement including quotation, purchasing, delivery and invoicing processes 
  • Manage all aspects of Vessel’s servicing requirements including scheduled, un-scheduled and items landed for repair 
  • Participate in the development, maintenance and tracking of the yearly plans that include dockings, capital modifications/upgrades, projects, major storing and long-term asset management 
  • Monitor and ensure stock levels ship and shore are maintained including all short and long-term warehousing activities 
  • Participate in and contribute to the Risk Review process 
  • Ensure all documentation for mini-teams is maintained including Vessel Certificates, Technical Library, PMS Change Requests, Vessel Drawings, Instruction Manual Registers, Service Letters and any other relevant documentation. 
  • Monitor and track all mini-team KPIs, vessel and system reports, participate in the development of proactive and corrective actions 
  • Support and interact with other mini-teams to ensure continuity of service 
  • Respond to feedback from external and internal customers to ensure consistent delivery of first class service and proactive resolution of any issues
