Our client in Port Glasgow is looking to recruit an HR Administrator to join them on a 12month fixed term contract. This newly created role will provide accurate, effective and consistent day-to-day administration for the HR team.
 
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Administration experience essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work on their own initiative
  • Previous experience within an HR environment would be beneficial
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Responding to first line queries, including effective management of the HR mailbox
  • Maintaining up to date and accurate records in our HR and Payroll systems
  • Administering paperwork relating to contractual changes, new starters and leavers
  • Supporting line managers with administration of recruitment
  • Assisting with collating monthly payroll information, and supporting the payroll team with system administration improvement
  • Supporting and leading on administration process improvement
  • Managing all administrative activity for the HR department
  • Providing administration support to the wider HR team including the generation of meeting preparation documentation, supporting meetings in a note taking capacity, occupational health referrals, gathering of people MI and supporting with business wide employee communications as required
  • Assisting with HR / L&D Projects
 
REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER 
 
Up to £23,000pa plus benefits
