Our client requires an HR Advisor to be based in Glasgow. As an HR Advisor, you will provide a professional HR service to key stakeholders within the Company including comprehensive best practice advice on all HR related matters.


  • 2- 3 years experience in an HR advisory capacity 
  • HR Management Degree or equivalent. 
  • Associate CIPD qualified (Desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, listening, relationship management and influencing 
  • Intuitive behaviour along with experience of key process improvements 
  • You will have a broad knowledge of the organisation and how decisions are made and how these translate through to the HR Team. 


  • Provide professional HR advice to stakeholders on employee relations activities including probation, performance management, discipline and grievance procedures, absence management and flexible working. 
  • Taking responsibility and leading on complex case management and employee relation queries. 
  • Facilitating/supporting/coaching line managers in the execution of people initiatives where necessary.
  • Supporting the business with the delivery of key HR projects.
  • Implementing and monitoring HR initiatives, including appraisals, flexible benefits windows and other key HR calendar events. 
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders monitoring HR practice and ensuring compliance. 
  • Responsible for continual improvement of HR Policy and Process in line with legislation and best practice.  
  • Responsible for the payroll reconciliations process, full training will be provided.
  • Coach and mentor HR Administration and Assistant team.
  • Leading on internal and external audits. 
  • Responsible for coordinating internal and external training and maintaining training records for all Business Units; updating in line with defined matrix
  • Supporting international HR projects as and when required; recommending process improvements 
  • Business Unit support as and when required. 
  • Reviewing business-related people data to identify potential implications and initiate local actions to resolve these.
  • Responsible for the preparation of HR monthly reports. 
  • Support Resourcing Specialist with recruitment campaigns and activities
  • Encouraging employees and line managers to use correct HR service channels.
  • Assistance with the maintenance of the shared HR Admin mailbox.
