We are looking to recruit a highly talented IT professional with retail experience to join our Glasgow based client. 
 
The IT Manager will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the company computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s computing needs.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Experience: Information Technology: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware / software systems is essential.
  • Experience with Office 365
  • SharePoint Online
  • Windows Operating Systems
  • Broad experience of implementing and maintaining IT Infrastructure projects.
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Implement & deliver a whole new retail package for the business
  • Lead and manage the integration of a new warehouse management system
  • Managing information technology and computer systems
  • Work with the existing suppliers and manage the company’s telephone system
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Implement the corporate IT strategy; including IT Security and Disaster Recovery strategies
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Manage IT interaction with business Stakeholders
  • Retail stock control & warehousing
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • First line tech support for company staff, second line for customer support
  • Point of Sale
  • Technical direction for delivery and integration of major technical projects from definition phase through implementation to final delivery into the production environment
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Data Security protocols, and support Data Protection legislation
