We have an opportunity for a Marine Technical Coordinator to join our marine client in Ireland.
The Marine Technical Coordinator will be responsible for technical procurement and supporting the Technical Manager with projects.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Relevant Bachelor of Engineering qualification or equivalent

Ideally a minimum of 3 years relevant experience served on board ship as an Engineer (2nd Engineer COC preferred).

Workshop & Fabrication skills plus a working knowledge of CAD / Engineering Drawing.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

A background of working within an asset management role is desirable.

Good Computer skills and experience with a computerized PMS / Purchase ordering system.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide administrative support.

Participate in Technical Design and project meetings.

Technical procurement.

Manage PMS.

Assisting in project management of dry docks, including creation of specifications.

Carry out regular vessel visits and attend dry dock.

Treat health, safety and environmental as a priority.
