Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to support the Head of Marketing with the management and oversight of all operational and product marketing plans including campaigns, digital, social media, exhibitions and general team supervision.
The Marketing Manager will work to develop and own the company’s marketing plans and take responsibility for day-to-day marketing activities that can support the client’s sales team and overall business objectives. The role is based in Glasgow with excellent flexibility around working from home. 
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business-to-business marketing, ideally in roles focused on intermediary channels in the UK financial services industry; 
  • Experience working in an FCA / FSA regulated environment; 
  • An effective communicator, with excellent writing skills and creative ability; 
  • Able to analyse data to identify and leverage opportunities in the market; 
  • Understanding of product development, branding and pricing; 
  • Proven track record in developing and growing brands; 
  • Experience designing, managing and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels; 
  • Able to use website content management systems, bulk email platforms, and social media management tools; 
  • Experience in managing databases and customer relationship management systems;  
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members.  
  • Actively ensure that the Brand is represented internally and externally accordingly to the Brand guidelines. 
  • Develop and implement a communications plan which includes internal and external channels, with particular focus on promoting the Company’s proposition and products within the intermediary mortgage market. 
  • Manage offline marketing including advertising, events, PR, and printed collateral for customers, intermediaries and other partners. 
  • Manage digital marketing activities including the company website, online PR and content, email marketing, third party website presence, and social media. 
  • Design and produce regular reports on marketing performance for the senior team. 
  • Ensure all marketing activity is conducted within the budget agreed, and is signed off in line with internal protocol. 
  • Work with the sales team to deliver the marketing requirements of the Company’s Network, Club and Distributor partners. Promote any partnership related activities and ensure that these partners represent the Company’s brand in line with the brand guidelines.
