We are looking for an MI and Credit Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-growing Financial Services client in Glasgow.
The MI and Credit Analyst will be responsible for:

Production of management information relating to the company’s lending portfolios, ensuring MI is timely, accurate and fit for purpose.

Employing various analytical tools to develop, analyse, monitor and report on data relating to all lending activity

Providing both regular and ad-hoc analysis to other areas of the business supporting the continued growth of the loan portfolios.

Strong analytical skills are essential for this role with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You must have sound, stable credit risk analysis and MI experience within financial services.

Strong knowledge of secured lending market.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the secured lending or Residential or BTL mortgage market, or within a MI/BI production area an advantage, but not essential.

Ability to communicate effectively both technically and non-technically at all levels across the business.

Highly conversant with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to enable delivery of internal and external reviews of data, production of reports with matrix and graphical content.

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Regular and accurate production of key management information.
-
Work on timely provision of MI reporting on variances, trends and changes in the portfolio mix. Also, ensure any trends and changes in performance are identified and reported.

Using MI tools including Microsoft Excel to produce MI reports within agreed timescales.

Create visual dashboards to assist with monitoring any changes as they happen.

Assist in the design of monitoring systems with tolerances analytically reviewed and reported.

Regularly validate the integrity of data produced to ensure accurate and thorough analysis of MI.

To assist other areas of the business to ensure any Service Level Agreement's (SLA’s) are met and ensure quality standards are regularly tested and maintained.

Ensure Continuous Personal Development (CPD) plans are kept up to date.
