Personnel Co-ordinator required for our ship-owner/manager client based in Glasgow. You will be responsible for LNG manning and scheduling, acting as first point of contact for employee and other queries and ensuring the effective running of the LNG Fleet.
  • HNC/HND in Human Resources or a similar field 
  • Crewing and logistics experience 
  • Recruitment experience including visa processes 
  • Seagoing HR experience 
  • Scheduling experience 
  • Knowledge of marine ranks and certifications 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Degree in Human Resources or a similar field 
  • Experience working for a marine company 
  • Experience managing a team 
  • Knowledge of marine industry regulatory certification legislation including ISM, STCW and MLC 2006
  • First point of contact for all LNG personnel related matters and queries with the client
  • Scheduling of Officers for LNG fleet in co-operation with HR Team Leader 
  • Understudy and support HR Team Leader position 
  • Arranging all necessary visa and immigration requirements necessary to completed crew changes
  • Daily Maintenance of all employee personnel files, vessel files and database records necessary to accurately record, documentation, certification, training and payroll in accordance with company policies and standards whilst adhering to payroll deadlines
  • Ensuring compliance with right to work guidelines 
  • Liaison with Operations/Technical departments regarding assignment of personnel aboard company managed vessels
  • Liaison with training department on scheduling training courses for personnel
  • Attending management meetings and reporting key figures when required
  • Assist with preparation of monthly manpower reports
  • Carry out internal audits as required
