Our Scottish Ship Building client requires a Planning Manager to join them. Previous Ship Building experience is essential for this role.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure project requirements are defined, reviewed and fully agreed

Produce fully resourced multi-level project plans, ensuring these reflect project objectives

Ensure all aspects of the programme are fully defined to achieve customer requirements

Maintain and manage the project plan

Accurately record and report progress of planned targets for budget, schedule and quality

Carry out cost and schedule project performance reviews

Manage programme risks through the risk register medium

Identify, manage and support the resolution of project-specific issues
-
Compile and issue workpacks to support scheduled work packages

Identify the materials, sub-contracts and services required in support of the work

Ensure critical requirements are met to support inspection schedules

Liaise with the customer and Drawing Office to resolve any technical issues

Attribute accurate resources to each activity to maintain accurate EV
-
Analyse project information to produce weekly and monthly KPI reports
