Based in Greenwich, our client is on the look out for an experienced Interim Project Quality Manager who will be responsible for managing all internal and external (i.e. customer facing) Quality Management aspects of the project.  This will involve ensuring implementation, maintenance and improvement of the company Quality Management System throughout Bid and Project implementation.
 
Please note there will be some travel required.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
 
Essential
  • Previous Experience in management systems as ISO9001 / TL9000
  • Experience in some key aspects of company’s business e.g., development, manufacturing, Marine
  • Working on Customer Projects and delivering to tight deadlines
  • Experience of Customer Contact, Good interpersonal skills, negotiation skills
Desirable
  • Lead Auditor
  • Quality improvement techniques
  • Some understanding of the ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements
  • Relevant experience of operating in the Telecoms industry.
  • Language: Working level French is desirable
 
JOB DESCRIPTION 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Bid:
  • Generation of quality documentation in support of the bids
  • Reviewing the bid documentation and detailing areas of compliance/non-compliance and key risk areas
  • Supporting internal and Customer bid meetings
 
Project Implementation:
  • Ensuring the project Quality requirements are implemented throughout the project for all company activities as well as those of our key sub-contractors
  • Generation and maintenance of project quality documentation such as the Project Management and Quality Plan
  • Management of the customer interface during customer audits and the factory/site acceptance process and the resolution of any related quality issues
  • Supporting the project risk management process by ensuring the implementation of any necessary follow up actions
  • Managing, together with the Contract Manager, the project lessons learnt reviews
  • Ensuring all issues found during the project implementation are reported and the follow up actions managed
  • Providing the prime interface between the project team and the other Quality functions
  • Implementing measurements in the Project processes and monitoring & improving Customer Satisfaction.
  • Specific PQM assignments will be given for each bid and project implementation.
