Purchasing Administrator

Reporting into the Purchasing Controllers, the Purchasing Administrator will provide administration support to the Purchasing Team. 
 
Duties will include internal purchasing, processing of invoices, minute taking, data entry and order management (in MPS and Aurora system).  As Purchasing Administrator you will also be responsible for creating and managing supplier records and excel reports, contracting suppliers, issuing and expediting purchase orders and monitoring deliveries.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Administration, English, GCSE Level/Standard Grade
  • Work Experience within an office environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organised and motivated individual with an ability to work on own initiative
  • Previous marine purchasing experience would be desirable
