Our client in Port Glasgow is looking to recruit a QA Engineer to support the Quality Assurance Manager in the development and maintenance of the QMS System.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.

ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor.

Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (essential).

Root cause analysis experience preferred.

Working experience within a Manufacturing / Shipbuilding environment (essential).

Familiarity with statistical analysis.
-
Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Previous experience with Q-Pulse (preferred).
JOB DESCRIPTION
-
Responsible for the capture, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the digital process mapping environment.
-
Maintaining current and creating new ISO documentation to support any increase scope of certification as necessary.

Define and conduct internal audits to the required specification in line with our processes.

Providing reports for use by Senior Management on all issues relating to the QMS.
-
Supporting other functions in the business to deliver quality.
-
Collating data for the management review.
-
Ensuring customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner.

Execute and monitor the Non-Conformance Reporting, Corrective Action & Root Cause Analysis process.

Through auditing, ensure calibration register(s) for testing and measuring equipment remain valid.

Enabler for change and dissemination of good practice including Visual Management techniques.

Implementation and governance of the Q-Pulse tool to support the QMS.
