We require a Senior HR Advisor to join our London based client, working on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office and 2 days remote working). As Senior HR Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing Employee Relations by offering operational support, advice and guidance to employees and managers across multiple business functions on a wide range of employee related matters.
 
In addition, the Senior HR Advisor will be required to oversee the delivery of Occupational Health Services; working with the external partner and managers to ensure assessments are carried out in a timely manner, support return to work programmes, support implementation of any recommended adjustments and oversee service delivery levels.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT 
  • Experienced Senior HR Advisor/HR Professional with strong knowledge and experience in employee relations, including absence management, grievances, disciplinary hearings and appeals.
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified or equivalent people practice related qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in a Senior HR Advisory role.
  • Demonstrable ability to deal with HR related queries of different complexity.
  • Understanding and experience of handling long-term sickness cases.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION  
  • Develop effective working relationships through the provision of timely advice and knowledge with managers and their employees.
  • Provide expert HR advice to deliver the best outcome by influencing and challenging managers and delivering support on matters of question.
  • Deliver coaching and mentoring to line managers, helping them to improve management capability and enabling them to self-serve.
  • Lead on HR initiatives: training and development, policy review/redesign, onboarding and wellbeing programmes.
  • Stay on top of developments in employment legislation and human resources, sharing knowledge to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support the recruitment process with regards to probation reviews, acting as part of a wider interview panel.
