Our Financial Services client, one of the leading independent wealth management companies in the UK, is looking for a Settlements Administrator for their Edinburgh office. Please note this is an FTC until 31st July 2022.
  • Administrative experience within the Financial Services sector is desirable.
  • Intermediate level of IT proficiency desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate professionally with all relevant stakeholders – both written and orally

  • High level of commitment during busy periods, e.g. Financial Year End
  • Monitoring UK & International trade settlements in various settlement platforms such as Euroclear, FundSettle. Clearstream, Global Custodians or CREST
  • Identify, investigate and resolve all trade settlement issues and liaise with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
  • Monitoring trade settlement platforms and updating internal books and records to reflect external settlement
  • Timely resolution of trade settlement-related stock reconciliation breaks
  • Understand and adhere to Risk & Control Framework and Policy Framework specific to the role in Business Support.
  • Ensure work is produced to a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner and to relevant SLAs or Business Support standards.
  • Escalate any issues as appropriate to management in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of your personal and professional development.
  • Identify continuous improvements in working practices.
  • Provide excellent client service, delivering against expectations and keeping all stakeholders updated.
  • Support delivery of projects where appropriate.
