We are now working on a permanent requirement for a Settlements Analyst to work within our clients Settlements team, based in their Edinburgh office. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the operations of the business, monitoring UK & International trade settlements, in addition to identifying, investigating, and resolving all trade settlement issues and liaising with relevant stakeholders as necessary. There is also a requirement for timely resolution of trade settlement related stock reconciliation breaks. To be considered for this role it is essential that you have previous experience working as a Settlements Analyst within a Financial Services company.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
 
  • Experience using various settlement platforms such as Euroclear, FundSettle. Clearstream, Global Custodians or CREST
  • The ability to identify, investigate, and resolve all trade settlement issues and liaise with relevant stakeholders as necessary
  • Experience monitoring trade settlement platforms and updating internal books and records to reflect external settlement
  • Ability to resolve trade settlement related stock reconciliation breaks
  • Adaptable to change
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate professionally with all relevant stakeholders – both written and orally
  • Intermediate level of IT proficiency desirable
  • Analytical, numerical problem-solving skills

  • Time management skills and ability to deal with conflicting priorities
  • High level of commitment during busy periods, e.g. Financial Year End
