Geoscience/Engineer/Quarry type qualification

5-10 years of professional experience in Gold mining

Must be able to demonstrate management of gold mining

Some experience in engineering/electrics/mechanics as well as contract management/safety and environment/budget management/stock management/logistics
JOB DESCRIPTION

Direct, organise and control the production
-
Coordinate the extraction chain, the treatment and delivery of material ensuring the maintenance of the material
-
Manage the employees on site and develop the environmental and security policy
-
Coordinate and manage the operations concerning the extraction and transport towards the treatment installation
-
Ensure all products and material are in compliance with all rules and regulations and policies
-
Draw up and manage the planning of the production
-
Establish and coordinate the tasks of all the employees
-
Organise and control the maintenance of all equipment and material
-
Manage the site and set up and control the budget
-
Determine the zones of extraction
-
Organise the different interventions on site
-
Ensure the site has all necessary supplies
-
Ensure the site is secure (cameras, fencing)
-
Ensure the infrastructure and routes around the site are set up
-
Manage the blasting activity of the mine
-
Manage the drilling operations
-
Follow the evolution of the gold deposits
-
Manage the stock of material and equipment
-
Supervise the production
