Our Glasgow based client are recruiting for an experienced 2nd Line Service Delivery Engineer to join the Service Delivery Team on a 6-month fixed term contract to assist the provision, configuration, and deployment of 100 laptops across their onshore userbase. In addition, the Service Delivery Engineer will also be responsible for managing, communicating, and deploying 100 iPhone devices as part of a lifecycle refresh program.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Experience of working with imaging technology such as AutoPilot and MDT

Demonstrable experience of supporting Windows 10, supporting and configuring mobile devices and working with Microsoft Intune

Capable of supporting O365 applications such as Outlook, MS teams, Sharepoint

Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
JOB DESCRIPTION

Review list of users who are listed on replacement list and schedule timeslots to perform device swap

Update asset register to reflect decommission and implementation activities

Ensure data is backed up and transferred to new device

Create a project tracker for identifying users who will receive the new iPhone device, communicate the schedule to end users and perform iPhone configuration using Intune

Conduct a face-to-face handover of the new device

Assist with 2nd line incidents in queue (only if the above tasks are complete prior to project closure)
