We have an opportunity for a Crew Coordinator to join a ship management company at their office in Paisley.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Previous experience in a similar role within a shipping environment would be advantageous.

Experience with Microsoft and Windows packages is essential

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Good administration and data entry experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for crew activities related to their specified group of ships
-
Oversee/complete crew documentation –license, visas, courses, employment contracts
-
Oversee/organise travel arrangements, visa applications where needed
-
Maintain rotation plans for achieving stability on board
-
Arrange all relevant courses and training required to keep seafarers up to date with legal requirements

Daily contact with all sub-offices regarding crew planning
-
Maintain close contact with vessels regarding crew issues
-
Regular contact with port agents in respect of crew changes
-
Co-ordinate crew activity with Master and Superintendents
-
Keep a record of crew retention rates
-
Conduct ship visits as required

Monitor and audit CBT training records
