We have an exciting opportunity for a Crewing Project Coordinator to join our ship management client. As Crewing Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects assigned to you, ensuring an effective and efficient service for both internal and external stakeholders in the business.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Degree or equivalent experience, in addition to considerable ship management experience
  • Marine industry regulatory and certification legislation including ISM, STCW and MLC 2006
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact at all levels
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Observe and implement the quality management system of the company
  • Delivering projects in line with the PRINCE 2 methodology
  • Ensure that assigned projects are delivered with the best possible result in terms of quality, delivery time, cost, and resources
  • Maintain strong relationships with all business units within the Company
  • Communicate effectively with clients and external stakeholders in a concise and structured manner
  • Utilize knowledge and experience in Crewing management to deliver efficiencies that can be gained from company systems
  • Leading and managing projects assigned to ensure systems are delivering efficient process to the crewing function
  • Working to tight deadlines and providing excellent quality work within the deadlines set
  • Development and mentoring of staff assigned to the projects
  • Delivering a service which meet the values and ethics of the Company
  • Portraying the Company in the best possible light to external stakeholders
  • Producing project management updates to senior management in a clear and legible format
  • Working in collaboration with the Finance team to ensure commercial budgets are met and to ensure that value is delivered to the client
  • Any other duties as required by the Company’s Senior Management
  • Emergency Role: Member of the Casualty Response Team
  • Occasional travel as required
