Our major ferry operator client requires an EPOS Project Manager for a 6-month fixed-term-contract for the delivery of an Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) project and associated business change activities in order to drive success across their network.
The Project Manager will work with functional experts in the business to ensure alignment and delivery and will work closely with Finance, Commercial and IT.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Essential:

Significant experience of delivering EPOS projects across diverse environments

Experience using MS-Project and/or Project Online
-
Formal Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP,)

Manage third party suppliers and contributors to the project

Ability to drive and motivate project delivery team
-
Change management including process mapping, transition planning and execution and data cutover

Maintain project controls – monitoring and reporting
-
Excellent business acumen to grasp impact of new processes on ways of working.

Highly skilled in communicating effectively with senior managers, colleagues and other stakeholders

Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail, highly literate with excellent written and oral skills

Working with business leads to identify all the requirements across the project to ensure successful delivery of the EPOS project

Ability to interact with, and influence colleagues in technical specialisms including IT solution and service design, technical testing etc.

Ability to interact with, and influence a set of senior stakeholders

Drive the project team to agree the implementation plans overall within the timescales.

Tracking of the project spend and escalation as appropriate and ensuring the correct project controls are in place

Ensuring alignment with the Project Management framework and associated processes

Knowledge of public procurement principles and procedures would be an advantage
-
The role may require some travel across the Company network – a clean driving license would be an advantage.
