Our client – an Oil & Gas Offshore Vessel Operator, based in the UAE – are currently recruiting for an Operations Superintendent for a shoreside vacancy.
This role will be responsible for the technical and operational management for all the vessels under their care, including operational and safety activities. They will also be required to prepare budgets for vessel operation and report on all matters relating to repairs and maintenance of the assigned vessels.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Qualified Marine Engineer / Mechanical Engineer, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience sailing onboard.

Good knowledge of ISPS, ISM, Flag State and Classification Society procedures and regulations.

Strong knowledge of planned maintenance systems must possess report writing and people management.

Proven track record in intermediate and special dry dockings, ship repair, mobilisation / demobilisation of vessels.

Effective project management skills.
