We are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to work on a short-term contract (3-4 weeks), working from home.
 
The Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for conducting screening interviews and assisting our client to find the right applicants for an apprenticeship programme.  Screening questions have already been prepared and these interviews can take place by telephone, Teams or Zoom, whatever suits the applicant best.
 
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment
  • High level of aptitude in oral, written and email communication
  • Computer literate, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Numerate, able to manipulate, analyse and present data to provide meaningful management information
  • Able to work accurately and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Able to work flexibly on both routine and more complex task
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to listen carefully and respond appropriately to customer queries
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and proactive in offering assistance to colleagues
  • Able to work to multiple deadlines and multi-task
  • Ability to communicate professionally and always keep hiring managers and others updated
  • Confident telephone manner
 
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in administration during an on boarding process
  • Experience in recruitment scheduling is advantageous
  • Min 1 years+ experience in resourcing or administrative in recruitment is desirable
 
JOB DESCRIPTION 
  • Contacting candidates to schedule interviews
  • Carrying out interviews via telephone, Teams or Zoom
  • Responding to candidates’ queries
  • Any other duties required by the HR Services Manager
