We’re on the lookout for a Technical Project Quality Engineer to join our clients team on a 12 - 18 month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping quality on track across projects - supporting the team with everything from site and vessel surveys to checking and approving subcontractor work. You’ll also be gathering key data, putting together reports, and making sure all inspection and approval documentation is in good shape.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Be qualified to ONC/HNC level in an associated discipline, extensive relevant experience would be deemed equivalent.

Experience as a quality engineer, or similar role, including inspections and testing.

Knowledge of marine standards, i.e. Lloyds Register rules or similar.

Understanding of mechanical/electrical/outfitting aspects of vessels.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents.

Strong communications and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience in commercial ship operations or a seagoing background (preferred)

Familiarity with quality management systems and processes (preferred)
JOB DESCRIPTION

Participate in FAT/HAT/SATs and manage punch lists.

Provide/produce accurate status updates and reports.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER
£53,030 Salary per annum plus car allowance of £460 per month, benefits include: 37 days annual leave (pro-rata), staff travel pass
