Our client is seeking an experienced Working Foreman / Quality Inspector to join its Hillington, Glasgow site. This is a hands-on leadership role within a busy marine fabrication environment, combining supervisory responsibility with practical fabrication and welding inspection duties. The role supports shipbuilding and marine engineering projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- The successful applicant will be a time-served Fabricator/Welder (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with strong fabrication and site experience.
- You will have proven supervisory or leadership capability and be working towards a CSWIP Welding Inspector qualification (minimum 3.1).
- You will demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintain QA/QC compliance and traceability documentation, and work effectively within a marine or shipbuilding environment.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- Marine experience is desirable.
JOB DESCRIPTION
